Jonathan Raj, MBA
Managing Director
Jonathan brings over 15 years of finance and operations experience to his role as Managing Director at Hollins & Hur and Nautilus Financials. With an MBA and a background spanning Global Fortune 500 companies, startups, and private consulting, he combines strategic insight with hands-on expertise in financial planning, analysis, and business transformation. Throughout his career, Jonathan has helped organizations of every size, from early-stage ventures to billion-dollar enterprises, optimize their forecasting, streamline operations, and make confident, data-driven decisions. His specialties include budgeting, performance analysis, process improvement, and technology-driven financial strategy. At Hollins & Hur, Jonathan focuses on helping small business owners gain visibility into their financial health, align operations with strategy, and build sustainable profitability. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his family, exploring new food spots, and cheering on his kids' latest adventures.

Senior Tax Manager, Firm Lead
Mary brings nearly 20 years of experience in tax and accounting to her role at Hollins & Hur. She works closely with individuals and small business owners to handle everything from annual tax prep to proactive planning and long-term strategy. Her goal is to make taxes less stressful and more strategic. A licensed CPA, Mary is known for her steady approach and deep technical expertise, especially in complex areas like global mobility, expatriate tax, and payroll. She's helped clients in industries ranging from government contracting to consumer products, solving challenges that cross borders and balance sheets alike. When she's not working with clients, you'll find Mary reading, gardening, baking, or out on a hike.

Accounting & Tax Manager
Junjun brings over a decade of accounting experience across government contracting, financial services, and the private sector. With a Master's in Accounting and CPA credentials, she combines technical depth with a process-driven mindset, helping clients strengthen their financial systems, improve efficiency, and stay compliant. Before joining Hollins & Hur, Junjun worked with organizations exceeding $500 million in revenue, where she honed her skills in financial reporting, internal controls, and complex reconciliations. Today, she brings that same precision and insight to the small and midsize businesses she supports, connecting the dots between numbers and strategy. Outside of work, Junjun loves to travel and spend time with her family, and she brings the same puzzle-solving spirit to both her adventures and her accounting work.

Tax Manager
Lenny is an Enrolled Agent with 20+ years of tax experience and IRS practice rights. He holds a BS in Accounting and an MS in Taxation. He serves small businesses across consulting, e-commerce, real estate, construction, and other service industries—ranging from startups to multi-million-dollar firms. His strengths include complex tax problem-solving, deduction optimization, monthly tax accruals, audits, research and planning, and broad compliance work (notices, licenses/renewals, city and franchise returns). Lenny is valued for organizing data, clarifying issues, and delivering practical, step-by-step recommendations. Off the clock, he enjoys time with family, staying active, reading, and traveling.

Accounting & Tax Manager
Alise brings nearly 20 years of experience in the accounting field, specializing in preparing, examining, and analyzing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations. She holds an associate's degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Accounting. As a registered professional tax preparer with the United States Internal Revenue Service, Alise provides full-service bookkeeping for businesses including audits, payroll, financial reporting, 1120S and partnership returns as well as individual tax planning and 1040 tax preparation. She has worked with a wide range of industries, from construction and healthcare to hospitality, restaurants, and small family-owned businesses. When she's not working with numbers, Alise loves spending time outdoors gardening, camping, hiking, and traveling.

Bookkeeper
Jenny brings nearly two decades of hands-on accounting experience to the team. She earned her Business Administration degree from the University of Mary Washington and holds certifications in accounting, bookkeeping, and Excel. Her background spans both corporate and privately held companies, where she has supported day-to-day bookkeeping and month-to-month reporting with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Jenny is known for her organized approach, clear communication, and steady follow-through—the qualities clients rely on to keep financial records clean and decisions confident. Outside the office, she loves cooking, hiking local trails, and exploring new places around the world.

Stephanie is a seasoned public accounting professional with over 12 years of experience advising both large-scale organizations and small businesses. She possesses expertise in comprehensive accounting processes and human resources. Her commitment to excellence and continuous improvement makes her a trusted advisor. She takes pleasure in riding motorcycles, creating soap, and crocheting.

Cynthia brings nearly 20 years of customer service and leadership experience to her role at Hollins & Hur. With an associate's degree in business administration and eight years of experience as a receptionist, she supports the firm with client communication, scheduling, bookkeeping assistance, filing, and the day-to-day operational tasks that keep our team organized and moving smoothly. Her background includes extensive work in employee training, team support, and service quality. Cynthia believes that when people feel valued and supported, they naturally deliver exceptional customer care which is something she brings to every interaction. Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, boating, swimming, and doing arts and crafts.

Meg spent nearly a decade in corporate finance and tax consulting, with a background in Economics and Finance. As a multi-business owner Meg understands what it feels like to juggle cash flow, team, and growth. Her real-world operator experience makes her uniquely equipped to help business owners see the value of proactive accounting and tax planning. At Hollins & Hur, Meg leads sales and marketing with a simple goal: make it easy for clients to get clear answers, feel supported, and know they have a firm that thinks about their business as carefully as they do. Outside of work she enjoys backpacking and adventuring with her kids.
